For a wholesome meal, the sambar, idli, and masala dosa combo comes highly recommended—an abundant plate that’s both satisfying and affordable. The thali, a traditional platter that presents a medley of regional dishes, also receives rave reviews for its freshness and authenticity.

“ One of my fav go to places to have good South Indian food! It’s not a fine dine place by any means but if you are looking to have some delicious food on a weekend, this is it!! My fav from here is (sambar, idli , masala dosa combo) it’s $14, worth the price and gets you everything in one I enjoy the thali as well a lot here. Sometimes it could be super busy so make sure you have 15-20 minutes extra time Prices are good and taste is amazing. ”
“ Tried the Masala Dosa here, and it was honestly amazing! The dosa was crispy and flavorful, and the potato filling tasted just like the authentic ones back in India. Both chutneys, the coconut and the orange garlic chutneys were really good, and the sambar was so tasty that you could enjoy it on its own. I went in the morning, so it wasn’t crowded, but usually, this place gets pretty busy, and parking can be tricky during lunch or dinner. Overall, great taste and a perfect spot for real South Indian dosa lovers! ”
“ I have no idea why this place closed down, the food here was so great in taste! Their Idli Sambhar and dosas were ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS AND FULFILLING! I visited it almost every weekend. Owner, please if you're reading this, we want you to reopen!! ”
“ Sad to say I never visited yesteryear Dosa Hut, so I'll take people's word that it was good back in the day--but you know what? Todayyear Dosa Hut is still pretty awesome, so I'm happy with that. If you want the most interesting flavor bomb in your mouth, try the Gunpowder Onion Chili Masala Dosa, which lives up to every part of its name (including the bang). The classic Butter Masala Dosa is as big and crispy as possible without breaking apart, while the Rava Masala Dosa offers a different-textured wrap that's just as exciting. I was too stuffed to try more than a bite of the Vada Pav, but remember it being fluffy and flavorful. Not sure I'll ever get around to having a full one since I'm going to be trying as many dosas as I can here every time I make the schlep over. Points also for freshly made Mango Lassi, though on a scale of milkshake to yogurt, it definitely leans on the yogurt side of thickness. Decor is just as minimal and bare bones as you'd expect for a restaurant with better things to worry about, but service was friendly and fast. Then again, we did come by after 2:30pm on a Sat. ”
“ Authentic South Indian food. 100% vegetarian restaurant. Food was good. Price is very cheap. Service was fast. Employees were very friendly. During COVID-19 situation they have outside seating. Highly recommended. ”
